What is the difference between Victron BlueSolar and SmartSolar?
The one major difference between BlueSolar and SmartSolar charge controllers is the built-in Bluetooth capability. This is only built into SmartSolar models. Bluetooth capabilities are extremely convenient if you want to use the Victron Solar app to monitor your system’s power production.
What does the Victron MultiPlus do?
The MultiPlus will prevent overload of a limited AC source, such as a generator or shore power connection. First, battery charging will automatically be reduced when otherwise an overload would occur. The second level will boost the output of a generator or shore side supply with power taken from the battery.

Does Victron MultiPlus make noise?
The noise is immediate once you “Enable Charger” and stops immediately when it is disable. We can call it a hum if we like but it is way too loud to be considered normal or as designed in my opinion.
