Where do you buy origin ships in Star Citizen?
Currently there are two major locations for players to purchase ships with their hard earned aUEC – New Deal Ship Shop in Lorville, and Astro Armada on ArcCorp. More shops like these will be added to new places around the ‘verse in the future!
Can you customize the 300i after buying?
Customizations cannot be directly changed after they have been applied, however, you can reclaim the ship for store credit and pledge for another 300 series ship via the store.

Can you buy ships with UEC?
Visit a ship dealer such as New Deal to buy your new ride in game. Ships can also be purchased in game, using aUEC, earned from in-game activities such as Mining and Cargo hauling. These purchased ships are fully available for modification, painting, and destruction.
Can you downgrade ships in Star Citizen?
All ship upgrades are permanent. Once upgraded, a ship cannot be reverted back to its previous state. The only way to revert an upgraded ship is to potentially reclaim your pledge then buy it back.

Skins are not yet purchasable in game yet so the only way to get them is with real money. They are going to be purchasable in game in the future tho and eventually we will have a much more in depth system for manufacturer, aftermarket and painting customization of ships & vehicles.
