Do set items work on followers?
While your followers can equip items that have Set Bonuses when wearing multiple items from that same set, the bonuses will not work on your follower.

Pig Sticker is a Legendary dagger in Diablo III. It requires character level 29 to drop. The special affix is purely cosmetic (and cannot be extracted into Kanai’s Cube), sometimes emitting a pig squealing sound on hit.

Carefully. Giving LoD/LoN to followers would do absolutely nothing. Because even with the bonus, Followers would NOT do enough damage to merit anything. At best, with LoD/LoN, followers would maybe do an extra amount of damage equal to 10 of the players skill uses across the entire GR.
