  • SATA cable for 2.5″ SSDs, HDDs, or to power some LEDs.

Should PSU fan be up or down?

It is recommended to mount the power supply with its ventilation top cover facing DOWNWARD. The fan in the power supply will take in the warm air inside the computer case, and the power supply will exhaust the air through the back.

Are cable extensions safe PC?

Yes, extension cables are safe. As long as the extension cable is from a good company like CableMod or BitFenix, it is completely safe to use extension cables for your PSU. You must also ensure that the extension cable isn’t too long.

They are completely different. The EPS connector is meant to supply power to a motherboard cpu socket while the PCI express connector is meant to supply power to a GPU.

How many fans should a gaming PC have?

A gaming PC will need at least three case fans to properly regulate heat and keep the components cool. At the minimum, two case fans are needed for optimal cooling, and ideally three. An exhaust fan should be placed on the back panel, while an intake fan should be placed on the front panel.
